The Minute Bible is an audio series that provides a synopsis of each book of the bible in exactly one minute per book. In the words of it’s creator: “The Minute Bible is not just a Bible overview, it’s a quick and entertaining Bible study, a brief audio Bible commentary, and it’s a jumping off point for a deeper study of the Word.[…]Great effort has been focused on making this both as entertaining AND as accurate as possible without being irreverent or disrespectful in any way.” Shown on this page is the process and final product of a logo I designed to encapsulate the friendly, fun, and educational spirit of this project.
I started the design process with 100 drafts of potential brandmarks, getting out ideas and exploring themes relating to the project (ie. Bibles, Christianity, stopwatches, timers, etc.). From here, I narrow my options down to the marks that work best and draft some more.
After narrowing the first 100 logos down to the best ones, I draft some more along the lines of the best few.
Eventually, I begin creating digital drafts with the best logos from the second draft, and resolve the logotype.
After the final draft has been chosen, I experiment with colors.
